Food has always excited me. It was mostly the eating part during my childhood, and the cooking and baking it now (the eating part is still there though). Additionally, I love food that has a story behind it. Whether it be a family tradition for a certain celebration or a recipe that someone has finally mastered after failing many times.

Just know that all of the recipes here have some stories behind them - new or Heppner classics. I can't wait to share more recipes and my ideas with you.
