Brunch
Blueberry Sheet-Pan Pancakes
These pancakes are the classic fluffy breakfast goodness covered in syrup that you're used to but all poured in a pan, baked, and cut so you don't have to spend an hour standing at your stove flipping pancakes. Enjoy your weekend and bake these up for everyone. They're so good!
Appetizer
Whipped Goat Cheese with Candied Bacon & Jalapeños
This Whipped Goat Cheese with Candied Bacon & Jalapeños is one of my newest favourite appetizer recipes. The creamy dip is topped with sweet bacon, jalapeños, and thyme honey all spread on toasted ciabatta.
Enjoy this with a glass of your favourite sauv blank or chardonnay and it's sure to become one of your favourites too.
Entrée
Hot Honey Dill Chicken Skewers with Southwest Salad
This Hot Honey Dill Chicken Skewers recipe with Southwest Salad is a quick, easy one for a day this weekend when you only want to spend 30 minutes or less making a lunch or dinner. You can throw it all together easily and everyone will love it. That sweet, charred chicken is addicting!
Easy Beef Burritos
As an alternative to the grill recipe, these barbacoa (shredded beef) burritos are an easy slow-cooker meal with minimal prep required and a delicious result. It's the perfect low-effort dish that makes a great family meal.
Dessert
Date Night Skillet Peach Cobbler
Soft, syrupy peaches, crispy but soft cobbler topping, and creamy vanilla ice cream - how can this Date Night Skillet Peach Cobbler not be a summer favourite? If you want to make this dessert more than 2 servings, feel free to use a large skillet and multiple the recipe accordingly. Trust me, this one will make you a pretty popular host.
Drink
Classic Aperol Spritz
There is nothing like a cool drink on a warm weekend day. This Aperol Spritz is perfect for just that. Like how fresh and beautiful does this look? Fresh oranges, zesty aperol, bubbly prosecco, just enough ice to keep it cool for sipping. I mean, it's literally summer in a glass.
Cheers and have a great long weekend!
